Annexation Records (1950-2010)

These records contain copies of petitions for annexation from a rural township to a municipal corporation showing date executed, names and addresses of subscribers, and full description of land to be annexed including a plat. Contains a copy of the commissioners’ resolution fixing date and time for a hearing on the petition, report from the municipal corporation to which the territory is to be annexed, and a resolution of the commissioners granting or denying the petition. If denied, may contain a letter of appeal, and final decision of the commissioners.
